Kaho, Shota Sometani, and Masahiro Higashide as leads in the upcoming movie “Yocho Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha Gekijoban”

Actors Kaho, Shota Sometani, and Masahiro Higashide star in the upcoming movie “Yocho Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha Gekijoban”.

The movie is based on a theatrical play “Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha” by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The film is a re-edited version of WOWOW drama series “Yocho Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha.” Kiyoshi Kurosawa adapted the theater play “Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha” into movie “Before We Vanish” while also infusing WOWOW drama series take on “Yocho Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha,” with different characters and story in each version. Both share the underlying premise of aliens having invaded Earth and taking over the bodies of humans.

“Yocho Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha Gekijoban” will be released November 11, 2017 in Japan and will show for 2 weeks only.

Movie “Ito-kun A to E” released main poster and 60 second teaser

The upcoming movie “Ito-kun A to E” recently released main teaser poster and trailer, graced by main actors Masaki Okada, Fumino Kimura, Nozomi Sasaki, Mirai Shida, Elaiza Ikeda and Kaho.

“Ito-kun A to E” is based on novel “Ito-kun A to E” by Asako Yuzuki and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki.

The story follows a man played by Masaki Okada who gets involved with 5 women, including a screenwriter played by Fumino Kimura.

Release date for “Ito-kun A to E” is now set for January 18, 2018 in Japan.

A new teaser trailer for movie “Ice Cream and the Sound of Raindrops” starring Kokoro Morita and Taketo Tanaka is now up for viewing!

“Ice Cream and the Sound of Raindrops” is written and directed by Daigo Matsui. It follows six kids selected to perform in a play, but the play is cancelled. The kids decide to continue anyways.

Umika Kawashima cast in Netflix drama series “Hono no Tenkosei: Reborn” + teaser trailer

Netflix is conquering Japanese viewership again!

Upcoming Netflix live-action drama series “Hono no Tenkosei: Reborn” cast Umika Kawashima along with the 7 members of boyband ‘Johnny’s West.’ The seven members include Daiki Shigeoka, Akito Kiriyama, Junta Nakama, Tomohiro Kamiyama, Ryusei Fujii, Takahiro Hamada and Nozomu Kotaki.

In the drama series, Umika Kawashima will play lead female character Hikari. She gives the mission to the 7 guys and infiltrates a high school with the 7 guys. The drama series is based on manga “Hono no Tenkosei” by Kazuhiko Shimamoto and directed by Toshio Lee.

The drama series will premiere on November 10, 2017.

“Bow Then Kiss” is based on manga “Ichirei Shite, Kisu” created by Yakko Kaga and directed by Takeshi Furusawa.

“Bow Then Kiss” opens November 11, 2017 in theaters in Japan.

Mone Kamishiraishi, Masato Wada and Gaku Sano as supporting characters for upcoming TBS drama series “Rikuou”

Mone Kamishiraishi, Masato Wada, and Gaku Sano will join the rest of cast of TBS drama series “Rikuou” starring Koji Yakusho, Kento Yamazaki and Ryoma Takeuchi.

Mone Kamishiraishi will play Akane Miyazawa, the daughter of Koichi Miyazawa (Koji Yakusho) and a high school student. Her father attempts to transition his company from a traditional socks company to a sneakers company.

Masato Wada and Gaku Sano will play as Takao Hirase and Naoyuki Kezuka respectively, who are both members of the athletics club.
“Rikuou” will air this coming 15th of October in Japan.

Main posters for tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love”

Two main posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love” starring Choi Si-Won and Kang So-Ra are now out!

The drama’s main characters, Choi Si-Won plays Byun-Hyuk comes from a very wealthy family, but he suddenly has to work to support himself. Kang So-Ra plays Baek Joon. She works part-time jobs to support herself even though she graduated from a prestigious university. Gong Myung plays Kwon Je-Hoon. He works very hard to become successful.

“Revolutionary Love” will air this coming 14th of October, in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for the upcoming movie “Garo: Kaminokiba” starring Wataru Kuriyama, Junya Ikeda, Tsunenori Aoki and Masahiro Inoue, has already been released. Atsuko Maeda, Toko Miura, Machiko Ono cast in upcoming movie “Suteki na Dynamite Scandal”

Atsuko Maeda, Toko Miura and Machiko Ono star the upcoming movie “Suteki na Dynamite Scandal” which also starring Tasuku Emoto.

The story is about the rise of Suei, who eventually becomes the chief editor of a famous erotic magazine in the 1980’s. Atsuko Maeda will play the wife of Suei, while Toko Miura will play a lover of Suei. Lastly, Machiko One will play the mother of Suei.

The film is based on autobiographical novel “Suteki na Dainamaito Sukyandaru” by Akira Suei and directed by Masanori Tominaga.

“Suteki na Dynamite Scandal” will be released March, 2018 in Japan.

Lee Sun-Kyun to play as ajusshi again in tvN’s new drama “My Ajusshi”

Who would have thought that this actor will relive his iconic role of ajusshi, but an ajusshi of a younger lady, this time?

Lee Sun-Kyun star in tvN drama series “My Ajusshi.” He will play the lead male character who is in his 40’s. He meets a woman in her 20’s and they help each other get through difficulties.

“My Ajusshi” first airs sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.
