Dean Fujioka Releases Full MV of “Unchained Melody“

The multi-talented actor Dean Fujioka recently released the full music video of “Unchained Melody“.

The song is a mid-tempo track with a poetic lyrics that includes a rap that mainly questions conflict and suffering as part of the human condition.

Dean’s first EP “Permanent Vacation / Unchained Melody” was released July 5. The short version of the music video for “Permanent Vacation“ was released last month.

YouTube Sensation PikoTaro marries model girlfriend Hitomi Yasueda

The popular YouTube sensation Piko-Taro, known for his viral song “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” announced Friday that he has tied the knot with model girlfriend Hitomi Yasueda.

The 44-year-old comedian, whose real name is Kazuhito Kosaka, and the 29-year-old Yasueda filed for marriage on Thursday, he said on his blog. The two became acquainted through work and had been seeing each other since 2013.

I will work even harder at home and at work,” said Kosaka in a statement under the alias Kosaka Daimao, who is said to be Piko-Taro’s producer.

Piko-Taro gained international fame with his 45-second viral hit “PPAP” in 2016. The song was recognized by Guinness World Records as the shortest song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and in July, he performed at the U.N. to promote the organization’s Sustainable Development Goals toward eradicating poverty and inequality.

Gen Hoshino channels in his feminine side in his new MV trailer “Family Song”

The official MV trailer of Gen Hoshino’s  “Family Song” and DVD content for its upcoming release has been released.

In “Family Song” music video, Hoshino dons a dress and wig to play the mother of a family, inside a pink-stylized flat. Additionally, female actress and singer Mitsuki Takahata plays the role of the husband, male comedian Takashi Fujii and Petrolz singer and guitarist Ryosuke Nagaoka act as their daughters, and Noriyasu “Kasuke” Kawamura is on the drums as grandma. Hajime Kobayashi takes on piano, retaining his identity as their son.

The song will be used as the theme song to the upcoming NTV drama “Kahogo no Kahoko” which premiered on July 12, of which Hoshino said he began writing this new song after reading the drama’s script.

BREAKING: T.O.P Sentenced to 10 months in prison, 2 years suspension

T.O.P has been sentenced to 10 months in prison and suspended for 2 years by the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office.

The sentence allowed T.O.P to still exercise his freedom outside jail, unless he goes against the prosecutor’s orders in a 2-year timeframe, he will go to jail.


“I have been suffering from depression for a very long time. I made a wrong decision and made a mistake that I cannot turn back. This happened all in the span of one week. That week is the worst time of my life and I regret it sincerely and deeply. I am ashamed of my self and will willingly take any form of punishment.” , said T.O.P

The trainee involved in the same drug case as T.O.P, Han Seo Hee, has also been sentenced the same, in addition to the order of drug counseling for also using LSD.

“Han Seo Hee was arrested for smuggling and buying cannabis along with LSD. She even smoked marijuana even after she was arrested. However, she acknowledges all her mistakes and crimes so that’s why we decided to sentence her to probation.” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

SISTAR‘s Bora and Big Star‘s Feeldog Confirmed To Be Dating

It has been confirmed that SISTAR‘s Bora and Big Star‘s Feeldog are in a relationship.

According to reports, the two idols met during a recording for Mnet’s dance variety show, “Hit The Stage”, two years ago.
The two found out to be very fond of exercising and upon they become closer, it has been also reported that Feeldog managed to drive Bora’s Range Rover.

Recently, the two were spotted going to a voting station together last May and left the station with their hands held together.


Bora’s agency Hook Entertainment confirmed the relationship, after reports were released.

Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen creator Piko Taro To Get Himself Animated

Who wouldn’t know who Piko Taro is?

The “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” (PPAP) singer, who became famous worldwide, has managed to keep his celebrity-like status going well by having numerous appearances on TV shows such as  “Sesame Street” and even had collaborations with the Japanese government concerning social awareness programs.

Along with these, Piko Taro’s next project involves mixing of voice acting and ad lib comedy which give us an animated version of, well, himself.

“Piko Taro’s Lullaby Luullaby” will feature himself and he’ll be playing all the voice parts. According to reports, he is one of the producers for this project, and spearheaded the planning and musical arrangement (well, we’ll probably expecting fruit-based novel songs with LSS worthy tunes).

“Piko Taro’s Lullaby Luullaby” is based on a three-minute improv sketch by Piko Taro in the style of a fairy tale. The animation style is inspired by the work of animator Takashi Taniguchi, creator of such animated shorts as as “Dappys” and “Mori no Ando.”


Utada Hikaru’s New Song “Forevermore” Theme For Drama “Gomen, Aishiteru”

The singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru is reported to provide the theme song for the upcoming TBS drama, “Gomen, Aishiteru”.

The drama is a remake of the 2004 South Korean drama series “Sorry, I Love You”.

“Gomen, Aishiteru”, starring Tomoya Nagase, Shinobu Otake, Riho Yoshioka and Kentaro Sakaguchi, will air its first episode on July 9th.

Additionally, the announcement is followed by the news of Utada’s brand new digital single “Oozora de Dakishimete”, which is set for release worldwide on July 10th.

The new track “Forevermore” with be available for digital download starting July 28th.

BTS V Looking Exhausted At Incheon Airport

We all know how tough life can be for idols due to busy lives and schedules and by the looks of BTS’ V at the airport, it sure mirrored how exhausting their lifestyle can be.

The recent pictures circulated on the internet showed a restless V, who hardly kept his eyes open at the airport while he stood waiting to get into the terminal.

As a mater of fact, the photographers themselves couldn’t take at least one decent picture of him with his eyes open!


Not only were his eyes basically all closed, but it looked like V was about to dose off any minute as his head hung slightly forward–even while walking!

Minzy Expressed Her Loneliness As A Solo Artist

It was a tough one for Minzy.


In an interview with The Star Magazine, Minzy revealed that she felt incredibly lonely after leaving the former girl group 2NE1, and pursuing a solo singing career.

She expressed how different it was, being a group member and now being a solo artist:

“I felt really lonely because I was trying to do something I’d done as a group by myself. We were always quite loud and there’d always be something happening, so I was quite sad.”, she said.



She then extended her hopes for 2NE1 to be remembered deeply in our hearts, saying,
“I hope our group is one that is never forgotten within our hearts.”

The solo artist under MBK Entertainent who had her debut way back in 2014 and recently gained attention due to her appearance as a contestant on “K-Pop Star 6”, will be having her return after the 2-year hiatus since her last release.

She shared a dramatic take on her teaser video for her new song “Love Don’t Hurt”.

Before heading to sharing a glimpse at her new MV, she personally announced to her followers in the video that she’ll be releasing both English and Korean versions of her new single, in English. The Korean version will feature Lil Boi of Geeks, and the English version will feature Amber of f(x)!

Her new track “Love Don’t Hurt” will be officially out on June 27 at 6 p.m. KST.
